What can you expect from each class?
Collective Fitness classes are designed for everyone, from complete beginners to seasoned movers. Each movement can be adapted or modified to suit individual needs, making the classes accessible and inclusive. And for those seeking a greater challenge, there are always advanced options and progressions to keep you moving forward.
Pilates:Barre
The Collective Fitness Pilates:Barre class blends two powerful disciplines to deliver an energising, full-body workout in just 45 minutes. This is a fitness class, not a dance class, so no dance experience is required!
The barre method was originally developed by an ex-ballerina who combined her dance conditioning routine with rehabilitative therapy to create a fitness-focused class. Today, it’s known for building strong, lean muscles while also improving flexibility, mobility, balance, and coordination.
In this class, you’ll use your own body weight alongside props like resistance bands and balls to target every major muscle group, including those harder-to-reach stabilising muscles.
You’ll work to build strength, enhance posture, and increase mobility through a mix of traditional resistance exercises like squats, push-ups, and hamstring curls. Plus, you’ll experience the signature barre focus on tiny isometric contractions, where joints move minimally, allowing you to isolate muscles and feel that satisfying deep burn!
Yoga
Collective Fitness yoga classes are energising, empowering, and designed to leave you with that ultimate “flow to glow” feeling. Each class blends strength-building power flow with stretching and mobility work, offering a well-rounded practice that helps you feel strong, open, and revitalised.
Throughout the 45-minute session, you’ll explore a new flow variation each time, keeping your practice fresh and challenging in exciting ways. Options are always provided so you can move at your own pace and find what feels right for your body.
No need for extreme flexibility, perfect outfits, or advanced poses - just bring an open mind and a willingness to show up for yourself. This flowing style of yoga builds week by week, helping you connect more deeply with your body and breath as you discover strength, balance, and calm.
With regular practice, you’ll grow confident in Asanas (yoga postures), explore Pranayama (breathwork), and experience elements of meditation and mindfulness to support both your physical and mental well-being.
